Very stable and sturdy. Might have upgraded from the bad reviews or they were being dramatic.
If it were not for the few quality control issues and additional requirements for me to drill and fix small parts, I would have given this stand a five star review. At this price point, I am still saying this is a good product and I am happy about my purchase.I was skeptical based on the negative reviews; however, I was willing to risk it at the price point for a 2,000 lb capacity stand that was large enough for my new 125 gallon aquarium. Either upgrades have been made or the negative reviewers were not assembling the stand correctly.Once the bolts and screws are tightened, the unit is very stable and does not wobble as demonstrated in the negative video review. The only wood screws are for attaching the MDF/fiber board sides and attaching the power strip to these boards. There are also additional brackets that are installed that prevent sway side to side and front to back. Prior to installing these, there were no stability issues after fully tightening all the screws.Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I have not doubts about the ability of this stand to work for my aquarium. There are a few flaws or areas to improve that I have listed below. There were extra screws, bolts, and rolls of the anti-slip foam tape. The shelf supports screw into the legs instead of simply sliding in. This is a nice feature and makes the shelf very stable. The shelf itself has an external support beam that is mounted during assembly and has notches for the supports to slide into and stabilize the shelf.CONS: Limited quality control prior to shipping. The sides have the alignment holes mismatched. I had to drill a new pilot hole in the side to align with the metal side. The foam anti-slip tape comes up short on the long sides. The short middles are deliberately short to allow the longer front and back pieces to fit; however, these pieces were short a full side piece width to reach the end. I used the spare pieces to cut a small extension.Three holes were either not properly tapped/cut or misaligned. Two of them were only bad enough to need a little extra force to thread, then I backed out and used and new bolt/screw. One was so bad that I used force until the bolt stopped turning. Overall the stand is extremely stable and this one bolt did not cause any issues with stability. Not a negative thing, but I would personally have an alternate location for the power strip to mount and include an additional shelf. Since the power strip is mounted to the sides with screws, this can be done easily. If you need a heavy duty aquarium stand at a reasonable price, this is a great option.

Great Stand!
This is a great stand for my 125 gal tank. My tank fits perfectly on top and my sump fits perfectly in the bottom! I'm not sure about other reviews about the stand being wobbly.Maybe they didn't put it together correctly. It is very study and has many points of reinforcements! After I put the stand together, I had no doubt it could hold my 125 gal tank. Now I have my tank full of water for almost 4 weeks and no issues at all! Great stand! I'm very happy for it's sturdiness and also for how good it looks!

Terrible quality but what do you expect for $350?
Let me start by saying I have been in the aquarium hobby for over 15 year and have bought and sold dozens of stands and aquariums, All four doors are crooked instructions say they are adjustable but the are not. Almost all of the the pop openers broke when installing due to the holes being misaligned in the metal (plastic pop openers). Bigger concern is one the surge protector is actually a power strip that they provide, (so it doesn’t power down with a short to ground which means if something shorts in your tank your fish and you will be shocked) and the biggest concern is after assembly no matter how tight the “bolts” that hold the main structure together you can push either end and there is 3-4 in side to side play in the stand. I have reached out to them and they told me my stand wasn’t on level ground 🤣 I don’t know if they have ever filled a aquarium but you will know pretty quick if it’s not level (it’s called a water line) and two they said we can send you $10 to replace the poppers. I would personally never buy another GDLF product especially their aquarium stands, BTW marine land has a base model stand that’s $100 more than this and won’t leave you with the same heart break.

Worked out perfectly for me!
I was a little skeptical about this stand because of the reviews but I bought it just to see. I am happy with this purchase. My daughter helped me put it together and we followed the instructions exactly as written and had no problems. Once completed the stand is very sturdy. I recommend based on my experience.

Sturdy
I bought the stand for my 125 gallon aquarium. Its metal stand is sturdy and easily supports the tank. The doors and sides to the frame and door hinges are fine. When I installed the plastic door stop door opener, one broke when I installed it, and the spare broke but stayed attached for a week. That system needs to be replaced. The stand is a bargain for the price even with its flaws.

Great stand
Nice quality stand just make sure to look at the way the parts go when assembly.

Great value for the money.
For the money, this is the best value on the market. Everything structural is metal. I saw a review about it using wood screws, but every screw going into metal was a machine screw. The doors are a pressed wood but it would be very easy to craft your own doors and use the pre drilled holes to connect to the structural part of the stand, if so desired. The stand I received is level and fish tank sits on it with no gaps between it and the stand. I would buy again if the wife let me get another 125 gallon! I had reservations about buying a fiber board stand that can’t get wet, and I have no concerns with this stand. I don’t think you could build your own for the price of this stand factoring in time, materials, tools and trips to the hardware store.
