MEXTECH Battery Powered Mas830l 3 Digit, 1999 Counts, 600 Ac/dc Voltage Digital Multimeter

Just a note : Those who are stuck at -1 reading just make sure the hold button is not pressed. I thought the meter was faulty, but then realised after sometime than the hold button was pressedGreat value for newbies like myself !

I have purchased this multimeter, and I am satisfied with the performance - good service supports -good quality multimeter. But the details of installing battery is not given. I had problem in battery installation but it was resolved

I got a clampmeter and this multimeter from the same brand. Clamp meter worked fine. This multimeter seemed to have issue, the leads were shorted i guess, and it blew fuses while measuring voltage from wall outlet. Even the continuity measurement was always good even without leads. Asked for a replacement and Amazon service did that very fast!The newer one works so far. But again the battery which came with it was bad. Hence QC seems to be an issue.However, goingby price the features seems good, leads are good quality, a rubberized grip case is good too. For the price if everything worked it would be a good buy.

Heats up some times2 need to open and insert battery to work first time3 need precision screw driver for doing battery installation4 does not worked properly first time. Needed to hold the top left button to start working5 does not comes with additional fuses. If installed one is gone you have to look for one which matches the previous one. At the price range they should have provided at least 2 fuses

This is the worst multimeter I've ever used. I tested AC voltage output from my transformer, and it immediately spiked to 1000 (I had set the meter at highest mode, relax😅) and then it started showing random readings on everything I measure; even stable DC voltage readings were fluctuating, but on the other hand, my 200 rs Unity 830d multimeter showed correct 250 v without any spikes or random fluctuations.I've returned this multimeter on the very next day of its arrival.And please do not buy 830 multimeters at this price unless and until you are buying Mastech one.This multimeter is overpriced and unreliable. I bought this for 630; at 750, please do not.Better go for Mastech, HTC, Var-Tech, or Themisto.If you can extend your budget, then please go with auto-ranging Mastech or Meco multimeters.
