This thing saved me after wisdom tooth removal and the dreaded dry socket complication. This and the corresponding ice pack jaw sling thingy were what got me through!!

A little awkward to put on, but it really helps to relieve the tension in my jawline and temples. Quality is good. Fit is good, but awkward (only reason for giving it 4 stars), otherwise it does exactly what I needed and does work as expected. The remote control is a nice touch!

This has been amazing. I had dental work done, which triggered my TMJ, and I have been miserable. I ordered this and it feels so good! I don't turn it up as high as it can go, but it definitely starts to get warms asap. And I love the timer option too. I have been it at night before bed (to hopefully help lessens tension as I sleep), and it's been working great! The first time I used it, it was a little tricky to get on, but that was just user error. Now it's a breeze. I've recommended it to people I know that also have TMJ!

While the heating is lovely and therapeutic, the strap behind the head, to keep the top from slipping, puts a strangle on the front of my neck. The heat has definitely made an improvement, reducing my jaw tension.The control seems to be installed upside down such that when I grab it to turn on the heat the control panel is on the bottom and the words and numbers are flipped top to bottom.

I loved this heating pad when I first got it, but two months later it stopped working randomly. The controller starts, but quickly shuts off without the pad heating up at all. When it's not plugged into the pad itself, it appears to be working fine. As soon as it's fully connected, it shuts off. Very disappointing, as I said I loved the heating pad but now can't use it at all.

My wife’s TMJ was really hurting and making her depressed about her future pain going forward. I got this for her because I’d come to bed and she had a heating pad on her face trying to relieve the pain. I couldn’t go on seeing that so I looked for options. This device really does the trick. She now uses it every night before we turn out the lights. It has relieved the pain (temporarily) so she can get a good nights sleep. Her mood has improved as well. She really likes the inline controller on the cord. Great device would recommend all spouses of those who have TMJ invest in this product. Payoffs are worth the cost!

I am new to the Tmj world after getting a tooth extracted. Although I’m not cured this product definitely helps ease some of the pain. . Heat level could be better but beats needing to hold a water hot water bottle to my face . Material is soft and not irritating although I did hand wash before use
