Worked good for what we needed

We had an existing security camera system with a mixture of 30 cameras throughout our gymnastics facility. We installed 9 TVs in our lobby areas and mounted a HD decoder on each TV and configured each one with 17 channels corresponding to 17 of the security cameras. Now, in addition to providing security the cameras and these decoders allow the parents to see what the children are doing throughout the entire gym. This is an excellent product and the support I received from SZURay was phenomenal. I would not hesitate to recommend the product and the company.

I've purchased several of these decoders over the last couple years and haven't been disappointed once. Some say that their instructions are lacking but I didn't find that to be the case. However I cannot speak for everyone.If you are looking for a decoder that allows you to display more than one picture, such as a "Quad" display, be sure to read the product description, because they do offer them.The units I've purchased are used in a retail grocery setting, and they are easily attached to the back of the PVM/TV for discretion. I've mounted some to the TV mount itself, others i've used some 3M VHB tape and just attched them that way. Either way they look professional and have a fairly small footprint.I would recommend these to anyone who needs a decoder!Note: I did not rate the Tech Support, because I have not needed any Tech support so far.

The product technically does what it's intended to do, but you may have problems. If you don't know much about networking, you could have some difficulties getting it to work. The unit seems to reboot themselves at which point occasionally will revert back to original factory settings and simplified china language in which case it will lose your video stream settings and IP address. One reboot changed video stream channel from 1 to 2. All of this is problematic. Also, loading new firmware which you must get from the manufacturer will also revert all settings back to factory as it does not save any of your settings before they are overwritten. Support is via email will take some time for response. I'm not sure support understand completely the questions asked of them. So all in all, I'd give them 3 stars for a promising product that needs work and better support.

Bought these for back door viewing monitors so our employees can double check they are safe before exiting the restaurant through the back door. Great product, works as advertised for single channel at a time decoding. Support from the seller was very responsive.

This does a great job with video, but not with audio.I'm using this with a URayCoder HDMI encoder but I don't get any audio with this decoder on the HDMI output. I know my RTSP stream has audio -- I can connect via PC to the RTSP stream and get audio, but the decoder only provides video on the HDMI out.Support sent me an updated firmware file, but it hasn't fixed my problem yet.

UPDATE: The company refunded my money and allowed me to keep the device. Apparently, the decoder it did not support the AXIS NVR I was intending to use it for. I was very pleased with the customer service.Did not work. I called tech support and they tried their best, but was unable to resolve the issue even with a firmware update. Lots of time spent with tech support has caused me to miss my window to return this item!! Now I’m stuck with a $170 piece of metal and plastic.
