I have had several pair of Yaktrax in the past and have found them to be adequate for icy areas, but their durability was always an issue. These Toselbai ice cleats have much thicker rubber strands and are therefore much more durable. The only issue I have is the ice cleats might be too sharp as they have left little indentations in the wood on my patio. Overall, I recommend these ice cleats for people who work outside a lot in areas where ice is an issue and where possible damage to flooring is NOT an issue. If floor damage is a concern, I would suggest Yaktrax.

Feels safe walking

The media could not be loaded. My boot is a size 11 so I ordered these crampons in extra large, they fit my boots perfectly. Its winter here in Minnesota, I ordered these crampons to wear when I go for walks on the lake. These crampons excel in the 2 most important areas for me; the first is that these have a solid grip on ice and second is that they are easy to install and remove from my boots. I am very impressed with how aggressive my traction is when walking on ice, I have no slip at all and can dance like a ballerina. These crampons are amazing, and I am happy to have them.

I got these in extra-large and they do fit my size 11 hiking boots. They do provide secure footing on ice. Why two stars? I wore these 1.5 miles out on a walk yesterday and found them punishing. I removed them for the 1.5 mile return leg of my walk and found the return so much more comfortable. I was going to give them three stars but on the way back I realized that I will never wear them again. They are just too stiff. It feels like having boards strapped to my feet. The varieties with springs instead of pins on the bottom are much more comfortable.

Bought a pair of ice cleats for my husband, so he won't fall again when he goes out to shovel snow.

My neighbor and I went ice fishing together. Wearing this pair of ice cleats, I marveled at its excellent grip, even on the ice, it remained stable and did not slip.
