This is a very sexy notebook. I mean, it is great but also sleek and clean and sturdy, it is visually stunning, and exudes quality. It is not what I would call luxury because what is luxury? Is it made out of gold with ivory and hippo and zebra skin? So also, it is functional, because I'm not taking my silk gold ivory hippo zebra notebook outside where it rains and people might feel tempted to touch or steal it. This has it all except that, and as far as the paper and ink goes, I can't comment as I haven't had time to write in it, yet. It feels nice. I use it to write, not paint or draw. I always order another notebook when I get halfway through my current one. I don't use gel pens, I just use whatever is cheap and readily available. By the time I've finished my journalling, I have used a bunch of different pens, none of which are fountain or metallic or gel or anything like that. I hate spiral coil notebooks, they are too small, either you write on top of a coil or you avoid it and only half the page can be written on. I also hate writing with my hand over the edge of the notebook so the corner presses into my hand while I think what to write next. So, I tend to prefer notebooks wider and not so tall. And this is a great one for me.

This is my new go-to journal! I write morning pages every morning and I love this journal. I ordered this one around Christmas and have ordered a few more since. I love the thick, hard cover. I love how thick the pages are, too. I use a liquid ink pen and it doesn’t bleed through. I love the pen holder to keep my pen right with my journal so I always know where it is. Great journal at a great price!

Okay, I love notebooks and pens and I am always writing or taking notes or something and, to me, a notebook or journal is just that. But OH MY GOSH THE QUALITY OF THIS PAPER IS EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!! It's a smaller journal, but the quality is AMAZING!!! Truly the BEST PAPER I have ever had the experience of writing on! I never thought that I would be this excited over "PAPER"... but believe me... it is the Silk Sheets of Paper... and now I am spoiled. I won't buy another brand or product other than this if at all possible. I see journals in my future and if anyone ever needs a gift idea for me... I am requesting THESE by the case!!! I am going to gift everyone I know with these. They may seem a little pricey for a journal...but you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I am so in love with this I will probably even get these to write my grocery lists on!!! Smooth, perfect writing, no bleed, and when you turn the page, you can actually write on the back of your page because the page is never compromised. The pages are thick, but not overly so, and the spine allows the journal to lay pretty flat. I can't say enough about it. My final word "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!!!"

Okay, I am a lover of notebooks and journals since I'm a writer. I want to give this notebook/journal a fair review. I use a LOT of different products for my projects but haven't been able to come across one that has great page quality. Hustle Co. has come up with a great product that can withstand my heavy handwriting. I took a couple of days to use this product before coming in here to write a review. So here you go...1. The paper quality is AMAZING!! Most journals or notebooks you get say that they have good, quality paper, doesn't bleed, etc. Hustle Co. lives up to what they say. The paper is pretty thick and doesn't bleed or ghost through. I write really heavy and press down pretty hard. So I was amazed at how well the pages held up to my handwriting.2. Hardcover. Normally I'm all for softbound journals because I like to fold my covers over. But I decided to give this hardbound notebook a try. I'm actually really loving it. It's sturdy, doesn't bend and comes with a handy pen holder on the spine. So a thumbs up for the pen holder feature! It lays flat when you get to the middle pages, which is another plus for me. I don't like to be inhibited by a spine that's going to get in the way of my wrist when I write.Now the only con that I had was I noticed that there weren't a lot of cover colors to choose from, at least not when I went to purchase it. I don't mind the black cover with the blue spine but I think having color options would be great! I hope that was helpful! The color option is the only reason I knocked a star off. Hustle Co. great product I will definitely be buying another one in the future!

The finish of the notebook is of a high quality. It comes in a great quality package.The paper is like none I’ve ever found in a notebook – its really thick so the pen and highlighter I use don’t show through the other side at all (even my fountain pen) and it is an off white color rather than a stark bright white. Very nice indeed!You can carry your pen in the loop in the spine which is handy as I never carry a bag to meetings. I can see myself using this all the time.

I wanted something to journal in, and I've found that some of the other journals I've looked at might feel fancy but had two problems: they didn't really lie flat, and the type of pens I prefer always bleed through. This journal works out really well; the paper itself feels of a nice quality, but the ink doesn't bleed through and I'm able to write pretty freely. It also does lie flat well as I write without feeling like I have to break the spine to do so. Additionally, having the pen loop in the spine is really helpful as well.

I buy a lot of different journals. Most are adequate but flawed, and I’m eager to move on to a new one once they’re used up. This was the first journal that I’m planning to buy a second one once it’s finished.I love that the spine can hold my fountain pen, and the paper can take its ink smoothly and without bleed.

This is a high quality journal that looks great. I purchased the blue one and I get compliments on it all the time. Professional and solid.
