I wasn’t sure when I ordered it if I would like it, but now that I’ve used it some, I absolutely love it. This planter is perfect—it is just what I needed for my windowsill herbs. The instructions were very helpful (okay dont judge me but it took me longer than I care to admit to realize the instructions opened up like a booklet.....not just front and back lol)all pieces fit together well, and it just looks nice! I’ve been much better about staying on top of watering when I can visually see when it is low, which helps me not be so worried about the plants. It was also really great to have the coconut disks included! The rounded corners and clean lines make it look super nice in the kitchen, too.This planter was an affordable and simple to use option for a beginner indoor grower like me.I tried to think of constructive feedback, but honestly I can’t think of any. I’ve had no issues with the product and it works great!

I had a ivy plant I began from a little pot in an arrangement I was sent for a celebration. I have kept it for years and it grew until it was too large for its old pot in my office. I wanted a pot that was attractive but not too expensive and one that would take care of my ivy plant well.I purchased the Self Watering Planter Pots Window Box 5.5 x 16 inch with Coconut Coir Soil based on looks, but once I got it I saw how easy it was to assemble, loved that they cared enough to put in the soil which I mixed into my regular potting soil with a bit of granular fertilizer to give it a boost and bingo .. it was in my office looking great!And with the self-watering system, I no longer have to remember to water the ivy (which I do with ice cubes so it gets watered slowly as it melts).Great product that is nice looking and quite effective in helping me with my growing plants. I am now going to look for more sizes of the same type of pot for my other plants.

This is the perfect planter for the top shelf in my wall divider. I love the way it looks and it fits perfectly up top. I re-planted my Pothos with its long vines and it looks beautiful. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five stars, was because I did not originally see or follow the directions for inserting the water level sleeve. Once I figured that out, Everything else was easy to do. I had it done in a matter of 15 minutes. I think it’s the perfect addition for a shelf that I can’t reach unless I bring out a stepstool for watering. Even with a full tray of soil and a Vining plant, the planter itself was not at all heavy to lift.

This fits perfectly in the space where I wanted it. The water indicator level is visible from the floor so I don’t have to constantly get up and down to check the soil. Even with water in it, it wasn’t too heavy or sloshy — no leaks when I stood on a step stool to put it up on the cabinet. I really like the size and color and price, which is why I picked this one over others. Very happy with the purchase.

The idea of a self-watering planter is great and I'm a big fan. This product has some positive points: I like how you can monitor the water level. I disliked the plug in the bottom, for those who want to use it outdoors like a regular planter. First, you have to decide what you want -- the product doesn't need to double as an outdoor regular planter. Second, one of the plugs lacked the sealing O-ring and I had to use hot glue to plug the hole (quality control issues). Third, the styrofoam ball that sits underneath the water level indicator was loose inside the box and almost got lost. Hence, I'm giving it three stars for lack of quality at this price range.

I have purchased a few self-watering pots/planters of late, in part because of my frustrations with watering plants at home, water spilling everywhere. I remembered have a self watering system when I was younger, so I looked on Amazon. What I have learnt is not all self watering systems are equal. Some you water at the bottom and there is a small window at the bottom, when I got one of those I immediately regretted it. It is really hard to see the water level and hard to put the water in, and the water level isn't effective at keeping the soil moist. Then there is this type of design where you water from the top, and the water sits between the outer and inner sleeve of the watering pot. The level indicator is on the top and easy to read. This comes with 4 coconut fiber husks, which, when hydrated, create soil for the bottom of the planter. This is therefore everything you will need all in one box. I love mine and when I need others I will buy them from this company

I bought these for my son's room but we ended up using them on our deck. The refill bobber sticks sometimes, but is very helpful and our marigolds have popped like never before now that they aren't getting too dry every now and then. A super-hard rain will cause the water to pool and overflow, but that only happened with us once when we had 8 inches of rain. I just dumped the excess out and it was fine. Also, these are made for indoor use so not really a product issue. We will buy more of these for sure. At least that is what my wife told me....

The media could not be loaded. I have had this planter for a little over two years now and I still can't complain! The white color goes with every aesthetic and it is super easy to use. No setup required, just add soil and your favorite plant then add water. The water meter dial will tell you when it's full and then you just wait until it drops down to refill again, simple! This was a great price and I'd buy it again.
