I've purchased three of these recently and have been very pleased with its performance. Line up the arrow with the center of the wound/incision; place on the skin; and squeeze the handle - it is that simple. Also of note is the staple remover that comes with it - comfortable to hold; easily removes staples; and is so much gentler than other types.It is a good value for the money as well.Definitely would recommend!

I've had to use a suture kit on someone while camping once. A real pain if you're in the woods. This is really easy. I wrecked a minibike and my knee hit the sprocket causing a pretty good laceration. I was glad to have this thing in my truck. It saved me some time and money.

I only used a couple of the stitches/staples to check it out. I'm adding it to our camping emergency kit. The stapler and remover are in sterile packages. It's decent as a disposable in quality and usability and nothing like the non disposable. It's lightweight and fairly easy to use. But I'm no expert. Just trying it out and having it on hand for emergency use if needed

Other staplers list their staples as 'WIDE', this item does not give any such details. Here you go :)The label photo is from the actual sealed stapler package. The dimensions shown on this label will probably make more sense to someone else.The staples photo shows my last stapler from AHS (bottom staple), and lists as WIDE. Theirs are approx. 13.7mm.The top staple is from this product (MW). These are approx. 12.7mm (via micrometer). I did have to straighten it after pulling it out of my arm :) Testing is important. These punctured the skin much better than the AHS.The staple remover included with this kit is excellent! It has a loop holding the sides in place, so it is much better designed! The last ones I had would bend very easily at the tip when used a few times (junk).I normally do not impress very easily, but I ordered 3 of these kits, and I have put the other 2 kits with my.. "emergency supplies". I plan on ordering several more.
