Typical applications include installation and removal of alternator and power steering pump bearings, axle bearings, transmission bearings, seals, U-joints, and many other jobs. Features an adjustable lower bolster and side-to-side cylinder ram adjustment, combining speed and precision that professionals need. The hydraulic cylinder assembly is moveable and equipped with a locking gear that is great for hard to maneuver parts. The high quality large diameter steel cylinder unit is polished and results in lower oil pressure needed to raise the load, helping to reduce wear and extend the service life. The hydraulics are powered with high-quality oil, which offers better corrosion resistance and temperature flexibility, allowing the unit to operate at temperatures between 40 degrees F and 105 degrees F. The dial gauge has dual pressure readings for metrics and U.S. tons. Includes a built-in safety overload system prevents use beyond rated load capacity and a safety guard measuring 18.5" by 20.5".
