Easy to use, great for learning

I have given up on braille, but nothing wrong with the book.

It was as described

Nothing wrong with this book per se, but my wife (who has little remaining sight) wanted to make a start on learning braille for the future. This book is of little use to her - it is aimed at sighted folk, with text and pictures but no actual 3D braille to 'feel'. This was not apparent from the description. Returning the book for a refund was, however, a painless process, so no complaints there.

This book is very easy to follow... It's giving me great enjoyment as learning braille has been an aim of mine for some time.... I have worked in care for 30+yes and anything I can learn to improve my care skills is great as no one in care work ever knows what skills they will need when assisting clients.

A great introduction to the topic. I learned the basics quickly and was able to put together a rudimentary lesson on the topic for some 9 year olds with ease using this book.I found it easier than using tutorials from YouTube.

Felt everything I needed to know was included for a beginner

This is an absolutely AMAZING reference book. Do NOT let the small, thin size fool you. There is an insane amount of information hidden in those pages.Without the ant sized print!The explanations for every single part of written English are so detailed and concise, I feel like I am learning the language for the first time.This book has me questioning what have I been speaking, reading and writing with before, because it certainly no longer feels like I had used English.LOL!Seriously worth the purchase to have in your book collection, even if you are not actively trying to learn Braille.

This little book covers everything you will need to know about contracted and uncontracted Universal English Braille. It is very comprehensive and clearly written.
