Only Balsamic We Will Use
Far and away the only balsamic that does not taste like pure acid. Been using it for years and it compliments any salad, we cook with it and even drizzle on strawberries. Can’t go wrong with this one. It is worth the price.

Wonderful & Deeply Flavored Balsamic
We used to buy this balsamic years ago and somehow stopped when our local O&Co closed. We have been buying other brands of good quality balsamics instead. We recently found this on Amazon and ordered it again. This reminded us that this balsamic is, without exception, the best we have ever tried. It's delicious. It is syrupy, rich, complex. You can drink it right off a spoon. So glad it's still around! Recommended without reservation.

Better packaging needed
Container was delivered with a major dent requiring transfer of basil flavored olive oil to another container. Flavor was superb.

If you’re looking to make vinaigrette, this isn’t for you
I make a lot of balsamic vinaigrette for salads. So I bought this vinegar as a little treat, more expensive than my usual. That was a mistake.Every batch of balsamic vinaigrette I’ve made with this vinegar has been a gelatinous mess. No matter what proportion of oil and vinegar I use, the result is a nasty, thick, goopy “sauce”. I’ve managed to use it on hot, cooked vegetables because the heat breaks it down, but it’s unusable on a standard salad.I’ve done some research on this and I’ve found out why this is happening.Per Cook’s Illustrated:“…these midrange vinegars were ill-suited to vinaigrette—the dressings made with them were all sticky and gloppy, more like a tart caramel sauce than a salad dressing. This is because like the traditional balsamics, these vinegars have more of what are known as polymeric pigments, which form gel-like droplets with oil, than supermarket vinegars.”The bottom line is, if you are looking to make salad dressing, don’t bother spending the extra money on this vinegar. The cheaper supermarket stuff will do you better.
